Hi, Which do you think would be wiser? Taking a train from Cinque Terre to Barcelona? Or a plane? We have more than just carry-on luggage.

Erin, Travel by Rail from the Cinque Terre to Barcelona will be a LONG trip (at least 14-hours with several changes). As you'll be travelling with "more than just carry-on luggage" that might be the easiest solution, although it will require a FULL travel day. You could also consider a Vueling flight from Pisa to Barcelona, as that would be the quickest method. However, you'll have to include the travel time from the C.T. to Pisa airport, waiting, security, etc. You'd also have to allow for baggage surcharges in your travel budget. Happy travels!
