Train or bus travel

We are traveling in France this fall and would like to go from Beaune to Avignon and Avignon to St Remy by train or bus. Is this possible? Thank you Shirley

Partial answer: Beaune Avignon is easy by rail. There is, or has been, a local bus to St Remy, which is not served by rail.

Beaune-Avignon: Depending upon your departure time, you will either go Beaune-Lyon-Avignon TGV-Avignon Centre or Beaune-Lyon-Avignon Centre. The Avignon TGV-Avignon Centre leg is on a bus. For Avignon-St Remy bus timetables (in French) go to www.lepilote.fr. Drag your mouse over "Horaires" in the upper left-hand corner and click on "Horaires de ligne." In the field below "numero ou nom de ligne" enter 057 and click on "OK." Scroll down and click on "vers ST REMY Le Stade."
