I will be arriving at CDG and plan to immediately take a train to Interlaken (actually Murren). Does anyone know which train station in Paris to go to from the airport or can you take the train from the airport?
Thanks for the reply. Is it recommended to get a reservation for this journey or can you just walk right up after clearing immigration? My only concern is that the trains could be full with tourists, etc. or it could take me longer to get through processing at the airport and thus I would miss my train.
Reservations are required on TGV trains. They come with the ticket.
The fastest time from CDG to Interlaken may mean going from CDG to Strasbourg, etc. Or it may mean going into Paris and departing from Gare de l'Est. It depends upon what time your flight is scheduled to arrive. What time is that? And what is your travel date? If you book well in advance, you can get a discount fare.
