Train from Munich, Germany to Dijon, France

The best fares for international journeys from Germany are almost always at the German official site at www.bahn.com. Doing a trial search it looks as if it will be 7-8 hours as Dijon isn't on the direct route from Munich to Paris.

Hi, This is a route where you can tailor it to your own preference. If you're not under a dire time constraint, I would do it this way: take the direct early express train Munich to Strasbourg, dep before 0700. Then Strasbourg-Lyon direct on the TGV. In Lyon you change to a local train for Dijon. The drawback is that it involves a little backtracking.
