Hi,
We need to get from Switzerland (Bern) to Vienna Austria.
The route that Europe Rail gives me is all day and stops at about 15 places (yuck),,where are all the high speed trains I have read about.
Has anyone done this route, can you make any suggestions?

The Swiss train site does show this to be a 10-12hr trip with up to 5 train changes depending on the run. There is one run that I see that is just under 10.0hrs. with 1 train change. It leaves Bern at 8:32am.
You might look into a flight to Vienna from Zurich on one of the inexpensive airlines. Air Berlin and Germania Express fly this route. Of course, you need to get to Zurich Flughafen (airport) first.
