My family is flying into the Brussels Charleroi airport. My first question is how to get to the Brussels Mid/Zurd train station from the Charleroi airport and at what cost?
We have Global Eurail passes. Is there any supplements or additional ticket fares that we will have to pay to get from Brussels to Brugge or from Brussels to Amsterdam? When I looked at the Rick Steves book, it had 11.80 euros down beside the Brussels to Bruge train and had 30-42 euros for the trip from Brussels to Amsterdam. Is this required of those who hold Eurail passes? If so, we cannot afford this for a family of 4. Is there any way that we can avoid these costs if they do apply.
