We see there is one train with a transfer in Montpelier & a 16 minute transfer in Figueres. Has anyone done this train route and what are your experiences? Is the transfer in Figueres doable in 16 minutes if the train is on time? Will there be a mass of Salvador Dali tourists all vying for the same train in Figueres? If we don't make the connection are there more trains or other options from Figueres? Are our seats guaranteed? From what I see the route is only economy, whatever that means. Sounds like an adventure for the young, but perhaps a little daunting for the older with luggage (though minimal).
