Info./recommendations on dealing with traffic tickets from hidden cameras at intersections??
Pay it.
is this seeking advice for avoiding them, or what to do after receiving them?
I recall reading about new, next-gen devices that were to be installed this year (retrofitted to existing speed cameras) in some Swiss cities. Apparently, they're capable of monitoring a couple dozen cars at once for speed, tailgating, failure to stop, failure to give right of way, etc. So if your question pertains to avoiding tickets in the first place, my advice is to drive carefully and follow all laws. These are money-makers to be sure, but they also facilitate safer driving according to the statistics I've seen. BTW, they're not really hidden...you probably have these speed and/or red light cameras around Chicago...same thing. They're situated on poles on various sides of an intersection. We have them at some intersections here, and they're quite visible.
And if you already have the ticket, my recommendation is that you pay it.
