It will take three to three and a half hours, depending on what you get into for the last fifteen or twenty miles. Do not beleive any mapping/gps program once you get up north. The only sane way to do it is to get off the E02 freeway close to Saint James then head almost straight west to Pontorson, then straight north.

Go all the way out the causeway to the base of the mont and park. Don't worry about flooding in the parking lot, it just looks like it might. If there's any danger at all (storms with spring tide, ect) the parking area will be blocked.
