Has anybody taken this tour recently? If so what was it like? I am considering this but the only day I can book a tour is the day I arrive (by air from an intra Europe flight). I'm not sure if I want to travel to my hotel, sightsee a little and have a time to keep for the tour. Parliament is only closed the Friday I arrive, and are sitting the following week.

Tina i will be taking the free tour offered by the bundestag in August, i can give you feedback when i come back. Beatrix who contributes to this board posted this link before, and i used it and was successful.

so you email your availability and they give you an appointment if you dates are good with them, quite easy to do.
