Hello, What is a good guided tour around France? Considering going on a tour around France instead of attempting to do it by ourselves. Rick Steves' tour schedule doesn't fit in with our dates and times. Which touring companies do you recommend outside of Rick Steves? Thank you.

You don't say how much of France or what areas of France you want to see. A few years ago we combined the Cosmos tour of Paris-Normandy-Mt.St. Michel-Loire Vally with staying on own in both Paris (at the beginning of the tour) and Bayeux (at the end) and that worked out well.

Tauck is a great tour company. We have used them for Canada, Turkey and Greece and Ireland.

We hope to see Paris, Normandy, Bayeaux, Mont St. Michel, Loire Valley, and I was going to throw in Dordogne, too, but I don't know if that's going to work in the limited time we have.
