This is not a question. It is advice. We just returned from a trip to Europe that included Berlin. What an amazing city it is! Per advice that I'd gotten, we connected with Jeremy Minsberg and toured with him. Touring with him is the only way to really see Berlin. We realized that we could have seen as much on our own, but we would never ever have learned as much as we did. It is evident that Jeremy has a real passion for his job...the knowledge he has and his desire to share it is amazing. I highly recommend touring with Jeremy.

Carol, trip reports should be placed in the Trip Reports section of the helpline now. It is the only section which does not require posting a question. How did you find Jeremy, and how much does he charge?

I saw the NYTimes online and got him from the Travel section. I googled him and found out a lot about him. Not a bad idea. If you go with him, I know that you'll learn a lot and have a good time doing it. He doesn't tell you a price but he suggests anywhere from 40 euros on up. For 5 1/2 hrs. we paid him 250 euros. He's worth it!
