TOUR TO SWITZERLAND WITH SCHENGEN VISA

I am an Indian Passport Holder.

Is Switzerland coming under SCHENGEN zone? If not, then
if I am issued with a single entry SCHENGEN VISA, can I enter in Switzerland from France and come out to Italy with that VISA ? Is there any concept of Single Entry or Multiple Entry in SCHENGEN VISA? Can somebody Help me in this regard please.

Don't worry....Switzerland is now fully under the Schengen provisions....so no separate entry visa is needed.

I recently flew into Geneva, Switzerland from Brussles and didn't even have my passport checked.
