We will be in Paris in May, 2011. We are looking to take a train to Brittainy and would like to find a tour that will pick us up in Rennes or wherever the TGV stops, takes us to Mont St Michael and back to a train. Does anyone know of a company that does that?

Don't recall that question being asked here. Will be interesting to see if anyone here has personal experience doing a tour that starts and ends at the Rennes train station. If you don't get an answer here, you may want to ask the question on Mont St. Michel forum of tripadvisor.com, where you might find a local expert (none here). As an example, see this discussion People here who want to do Mont St. Michel as a day trip from Paris, do it 2 ways: 1) a bus tour starting in Paris, some will pick you up at your Paris hotel; or 2) those who want to get there on their own, but as a day trip from Paris, take the train to Pontorson and then connect to a bus to the Mont. It's a long day, and in May you'll be there with thousands of other day trippers.
