need a good recomendation for a good tour guide with a mini van for 6 adults for one day in Berlin.
Why a mini van? Why not a walking tour? You will see more then if you ride in a van. Traffic is horrible in Berlin
I believe most of the walking tour companies in Berlin also can arrange vans and drivers. Send them an email to get prices.
We took an English walking tour in Berlin and it was excellent. It took about 3 and a half hours and we know that we saw much more than if we had been in a van.
Marilynn, When we did the Rick Steves Berlin Prague and Vienna tour we did two walking tours on two separate mornings--one in the west and one in the East. I think that even doing it in one day, I would recommend walking combined with public transit. Everything is pretty close together. I don't know if the Rick Steves staff share names, but you might ask them. Also, I googled Tour Guides Berlin and got some interesting websites that might be worth exploring. Then if you find one that you want to investigate post here again, and I would advise posting on Trip Advisor. They have locals who might be able to advise you even better. The site for a Friend in Berlin cited rates of 60 euro an hour for walking tours and 100 an hour for the mini van. Pam

Marilynn, I found this site, among others, when I googled "Volkswagen Minibus Tours in Berlin." They give you a 2-3 hour tour in a Mercedes van for around 240 Euro. It holds 8 people. There are other sites, including a hop-on-hop-off tour with a ticket good for 24 hours, 22 Euro for adults and 18 Euro for seniors. These tickets may be purchased through RailEurope.
