We will be traveling from Torino to Zurich by way of Chur. We will be using the "normal" trains on this route instead of the Bernina Express. My question is two fold: Is there any difference between first class on the Bernina Express and first class on the "normal" trains and is there a big difference between first and second class on the "normal" trains

Hi William. On regular trains, 2nd class is generally quite comfortable; two seats on either side of a middle aisle; 1st class is usually two seats on one side of the aisle, one on the other. Usually 1st class has more empty seats. Personal preference as to whether 1st class is worth the extra cost; most people don't think it is.
