My husband and I are considering renting a car during our trip to Spain to travel from Barcelona to San Sebastian to Logrono to Madrid. We're considering this option as it would allow us greater flexibility when leaving for our next destination. Google maps provides an estimate for fuel costs, but I can't find any good websites for estimating toll costs... Approximately how much would this trip cost us in tolls? I looked at the graffiti wall for car rental/driving tips and suggestions; however, any other tips or suggestions you have are appreciated!

www.viamichelin.com will give you toll estimates as well as fuel and time estimates.

Ashley, we used our credit card (VISA credit card) at some of the toll stations, and paid cash in others, when we were in Spain a week ago. It was a peice of cake using either. The most we paid was $6. I have to repeat the advice that Ed from Pensacola posted a month or so ago: "The east-west freeways are in the midst of reconstrucion/addition which has been going on for seven evers. Don't rely on a gps or a map if something seems out of wack. Know the next town/city" Best advice I received.
