As silly a question as this may sound, many of you know the pain of finding a potty. We will be taking a tour from Munich to Vienna during this coming Oktoberfest ( this being our first trip to that region ). I was wondering how & where toilets are at the Oktoberfest Fairgrounds and also at the biergartens such as the Englisher Garten? Alot of beer drinking means alot of potty breaks.

You won't have any problem finding toilets either at the O'fest or the Englischergartens.

And they are clean and well stocked. They have attendents cleaning and taking care of them around the clock. Try to keep coins in your pocket any time you go to the bathroom because they work for tips. That is a good rule of thumb everywhere in Europe.
Every tent at Oktoberfest has ample bathrooms.

Not sure about Oktoberfest, but we carry a lot more cash when traveling than we do at home and organize it into 3 departments, based on descending denomination: Euros, Eurettes, and Urinettes. Don't leave home without them.

Just FYI...they're not really tips and they're not really optional:) Always pay for your potty break. Usually 20 euro cents per use. Typically if there's a plate/bowl on a table with coins in it, you should pay. This rule doesn't apply at restaurants you are eating at.

Sam may have saved me money. I usually put in about 50 Euro cents. Now I can use the toilet 1 1/2 times more for my money. :)
