Timhotel Montmartre Paris?

Anyone recently (last 8 months) stay at the Timhotel Montmartre? The description on the internet seems okay as do the reviews, but then pretty much all descriptions make hotels sound okay. I'd feel better hearing from some RS travelers on the place before I make a reservation. I'd also appreciate the name(s) of any other hotel(s) in the vicinity in a similar price range ($140 US/day).

We stayed there on our 1st trip to Paris (back in 2007). Our room was tiny, but I think I rented one of the most inexpensive they had. Clean, nicely furnished, has an elevator. Very convenient location for exploring the Montmartre area. I would just get a larger room the next time. I thought the pictures were very representative of the hotel.

Here is 3 star hotel we stayed at once when the apartment we had rented from a friend (now a former friend) turned out to be totally unsuitable. Hotel Caravelle, 68 rue des Martyrs, in the 9th arrond. It is just a short walk from your Timhotel and in a much nicer area. We paid 104 € two and a half years ago for a very big room and the front desk staff were very nice & welcoming when we told them our tale of woe. It was very close to the "unsuitable" apartment and we just stumbled upon it.

We stayed at Timhotel Eiffel Tower and enjoyed it. Have not used Timhotel Montmartre so can't help with that particular location but it seems they might all be the same. Room size doesn't matter to us but we were there for nine nights and apparently had one of the larger rooms. They served a good buffet breakfast, the room was very clean, and the staff friendly. Can't ask for more!
