Assumming you just have carryon does anyone know about how long this takes?

According to Bahn.de it takes 2:58hrs to get from Berlin Schönefeld airport to Görlitz and requires 2 changes. You don't have to backtrack into Berlin. You can take a Regionalbahn from the airport to Königswusterhausen, change onto a Regionalexpress to Cottbus and then take the Lausitzbahn down to Görlitz. On bahn.de Check from Berlin Schoenefels to Görlitz Bahnhof. This way it saves you 44 minutes of journey time. Unless of course you WANT to go to downtown Berlin. And yes, Hbf (Hauptbahnhof) is the main train station and the hub of all rail travel in Berlin.

Maybe if you shared the information of which of the three Berlin airports and which train station you're talking about someone on here could share the time information with you.

Arriving at Berlin Schoenefeld airport with the ultimate destination of Gorlitz. The query on the Bahn website says Berlin Hbf for the train station. I'm assuming this is the main train station in Berlin. My stepdaughter will be flying in from Venice to meet up with us in Gorlitz and I'm just trying to figure out which train connection is reasonable.
