The site that is recommended for ordering tots online is in Spanish. Any info on getting tkts would be appreciated, for timing also.
We'll be there in March. Thanks
You will usually see a British or a half/half Brit American flag at the top right corner to switch languages.. http://www.alhambra.org/eng/index.asp?secc=/inicio&popup=1 This should be in english, if not look to the top right to switch..
On the site I just posted push the English/American flag icon on the left hand side.. :) Here is the ticketmaster site, copy and paster info into your address bar :) ...

What site are you looking at? The official site is alhambradegranada.org. It has a link to the ticket seller, which unfortunately is ticketmaster.es, but it does work smoothly and is definitely available in English. It used to be Servicaixa but apparentlyticketmaster took them over. At least they don't charge exorbitant handling fees. The site Teresa posted, alhambra.org, seems to be a site that sells guided tours and books hotels.
We normally travel without reservations. For Alhambra, we would have reserved but really didn't know until the day before when, exactly, we would be in Granada. It was a little touch and go on whether we would be able to visit Alhambra during our stay because we didn't reserve - good idea to reserve as soon as you can. In our case, Rick's book gave some very good advice on how to get tickets without advance reservations and it worked out for us - but it could have been a minor disaster.
I thought this was the official site for the Alhambra http://www.alhambra-patronato.es/index.php/Bienvenido/1+M5d637b1e38d/0/ It does send you to ticketmaster.es to buy the tickets, which ends up being caixa. After using the site once, I found that it was easy to follow in Spanish after a run-through in English, and it seems to be much faster in Spanish.
The websites Sasha, Neil, and Chani mentioned are both " official" and both will take you to the Ticketmaster/ ServiCaixa website for the purchase. You can change it to English. The Patranato website is more informative about the history and detail of the Alhambra.
