Contrary to what is in the guidebook-this museum is not open until 8pm on Wednesday nights. Also really double check what tram to take to get there, the map my hotel gave me was incorrect.

Are you referring to the Hermitage Museum in Amsterdam (since you posted in To The West), or something else?

hi, thanks. im going back this sept, but usually dont see a museum at night. what i usually do to though is to go to the web sites and verify hours, costs and other things. even then, the web site can be wrong or not up to date (UTD). so, let the traveler beware! if you go back, you may want to get one of the Iamsterdam maps from the VVV office across the main train station. the tram lines/stops were correct. happy trails.
