I would like to thank all of the people who have responded to my questions and those of others as I have prepared for my three week vacation to France. Sometimes (OK many times) questions are repeated and you have answered over and over. It is very appreciated by those of us who still need handholding for international travel and the enormous amount of planning.
My son, daughter in-law and my self will be visiting Paris, Chartes, Giverny, Caen, Mont St Michel, Amboise, Sarlat du Canada, Carcassone, Arles, Nice and Lyon in the next 3 weeks. Yes I know a rather ambitious itinerary. Thanks to RS and his 21 day itinerary with modifications. We will be using, trains, Metro and rental cars as needed and you all have helped with ideas and solutions. Will report back in November

Certainly NOT to much. We did the same and more several years ago, also in a three week period. Should be great fun.
