I will be flying into Paris on Delta (so I assume we'll land at Terminal 1) and then need to get over to the TGY station at the airport to pick up a train to Burgundy. How quickly can this be accomplished? Am not familiar with CDG so want to make sure I've alloted enough time, particularly if the flight is late. Thanks.
I believe Delta lands at Terminal 2 and Terminal 2 is where the TGV station is located. You can google and download maps of the CDG terminals.
According to Delta's website, it flies into Terminal 2. Since the TGV station is located there, it'll mean a quicker transfer to your train. Delta has a handy little airport map here. You'll see the entrance to the train station between terminals C-D and E-F. If you've purchased your train tickets ahead of time, I would leave a 2-hour time pad, just to be on the safe side.
Thanks to both of you for the quick response! I had just assumed Delta flew into terminal 1 because a travel Website said most international flights land there. Following up on the two-hour comfort zone, does that include immigration and customs when you deplane? I actually have a three-hour window if the plane lands on time.
Yes, that includes both....your window should be plenty of time.
