TGV reservation online

Hi All, I read in Steve's book that the best way to book TGV directly online was to put in a country of origin like Slovakia, etc, so you would not be re-routed to the Raileurope website. Just to be sure: how do I get my ticket if I book online? Can i just print it out? And there is no trouble claiming a different country of origin than my own? (USA) and no tips on how to proceed? Just go ahead and book it as they lay it out on the website? Thank you!

To book in English at the proper price, use www.tgv-europe.com/en and set the "Ticket collection country" to any English-speaking country except the USA. All will then be well.
The cheap prices for most trains only appear on the voyages-SNCF and tgv-europe websites around 90 days before departure. You may either print your tickets or collect them (with the same credit card) at any station in France. Bon voyage!

What Coco said. I chose Great Britain as my English-speaking country. Printed the tickets at home. We had absolutely no problems.
