I have a 6:15 a.m. flight out of Marseille on a Saturday morning. Rather than stay by the airport, I'd like to leave from Aix. Is it possible to get a taxi before 5 a.m. and any idea what it would cost? Thanks in advance.

Last September we took a taxi from MRS to Aix--took about 35-45 minutes and cost 65E. I would ask your hotel a couple of days ahead (although they'll probably ask you to ask the night or afternoon before) to arrange for a taxi. I suspect they'll tack on a hefty "after-hours" fee. I've never flown out of Marseilles, only in and we usually then take the TGV to our next overnight.
