It's been many years since I've been to Paris and my family was always too cheap to take a taxi. But it seems affordable to go from CDG to our hotel in the Marais via taxi with four people. Rick Steves says that it's 55 euro with three people but does not specify the amount for the four of us. Any input would be helpful--thanks!

Thanks, Steve! Very detailed description. Too many choices. I guess I'll have to see how tired my kids feel after the flight.

Just returned from Paris. The train is inexpensive & simple but it depends on how big your suitcases are as you will have to drag them along with you. Both into and leaving Paris from/to CDG we used Metro & RER B and had no problems.
