I will be going to Salamanca and Segovia. I prefer to tapas hop nibbling my way through the city. Much of what I'm finding are rather pricy sit down meal options. I assume that Salamanca wouldn't be too expensive being a university town but Segovia seems to be a challenge. Does any one have any suggestions?

I've got one: Skip the tapas in Segovia and eat dead pig at Candido's joint. It's a life-changing experience. Actually, I've got two: Get your nose out of the computer and wander the edge of the main square and then make another loop about a block out. You'll be stuffed to the gills in short order.
