I have a flight leaving from girona at 6:50AM so I'm going to try to make the 3:30AM bus from estacion del nord. However, I can't really find any details as to where the bus stop is exactly...Has anyone taken it before? I also plan on walking a few blocks to this area from my hostel with my boyfriend, is it somewhat safe at 3AM?

That sounds needlessly stressful to me. Why not take the opportunity to spend an afternoon/day in Gerona? A couple walking through the Estació del Nord area shouldn't have any trouble. Have a good trip.

Find a hotel near the airport. That should not be a problem. Find one with a shuttle service. It is a neat little airport. Have a great time.
