Hi all, My friend and I will be traveling to Switzerland for 2 days (arriving at Zurich April 20- leaving morning of April 22), any suggestion or travel agent we can contact? Thanks for sharing!!
You don't need a tour guide or travel agent for Switzerland. When you arrive in Zurich airport you'll get your luggage and head downstairs to the train. Buy a ticket at the counter for your destination and get on the train and relax. If you've never been to Switzerland you'll be amazed at the scenery everywhere. Lucerne is only about 1 hour train ride from Zurich. Very pretty medieval town center with flowing river through the center and swans on the water. A bit farther is the Bernese Oberland near Interlaken. Again, buy your ticket and get on the train...head for Wengen or Mürren via Interlaken. The scenery is stunning, but be aware there may be snow in the Oberland...less likely to have snow in Lucerne but still possible. That's all there is to it - no travel agent needed.
