Switzerland: Titlis or Shilthorn?

Time and money for one or the other, not both. Would appreciate in-put.

Have only been to Titlis. Did Titlis two months ago. One of the highlights of our recent trip. Took the train to Engleberg from Lucerne. Bus right outside station to Titlis chairlift runs frequently. It was snowing heavily and for residents of the driest state in the driest continent, who have only seen snow on two occasions in our lives, to be able to stand and be covered by the falling snow, was an amazing experience.
We had our cheapest and best meal in the restuarant at the summit.

I visited the Schilthorn about a month ago. I got lucky - the weather was good. It was an awesome trip, the views were stunning. The cable car ride from Murren to the summit alone is a blast - it's a long ride up and the views are amazing. I haven't been to Titlis, but the Schilthorn was well worth the time if the weather is good.

Did the Schilthorn on May 25th. Picked it over the Jungfraujoch and glad we did. Great views and wonderful ride. The revolving restaurant at the top serving breakfast looked and smelled great, though a tad pricey. Also there's a kind of a snack bar located in the gift shop for a lighter option. Don't know the Titlis but I do know the Schilthorn is good. Even better if you can go as early as possible to beat the crowd and the clouds, and maybe enjoy a breakfast. Look into one of the Swiss Passes, which might get you the ride at half price. Finally, if you love to hike you can consider hiking down to Murren from the top, and pick up transportation back to wherever you are headed.
