Switzerland in late September

Hi,

My husband and I are planning a 6 nights stay in Switzerland from Sep 24 to Sep 29. We will be in Interlaken for 4 nights and 2 nights at Luzern.
We plan to visit Jungfrau while in Interlaken and Mt Pilatus while in Luzern.
1.What kind of clothing would you suggest for Interlaken, Luzern ? I was thinking of packing wind-breakers and a fleece jacket.
2.Should we carry heavy woolen jackets for our mountain excursions to Jungfrau and Mt. Pilatus ?
3. We have purchased the Tops of Switzerland package tour from raileurope with 2 additional nights. Has anyone taken this tour before? Do you know if the swiss transfer ticket included in this package includes free entry to local museums in Interlaken and Luzern?

Any advise would be greatly appreciated,
CK

The fleece jackets and layers will be fine. The heavy jacket for the mountain top is a bit of overkill. Both peaks have indoor observations decks, where most people flee to after spending a few seconds on the outdoor deck:) The transfer ticket does not include free entry to museums. Click the "railpasses" tab at the top of this page for a description of all the Swiss passes.

Unless you plan to spend a few hours in the elements on the peaks, heavy jackets will be overkill (and a pain to carry around and only use briefly). Just add an extra layer under your fleece and you'll be fine.
