Switzerland at Christmas...which other country to visit?

I'm traveling with my husband and young daughter to Oberdiessbach, Switzerland Dec. 22-29. After our stay we would like to head to another country for a quick visit before we depart on January 1. I haven't booked our plane yet since I'm not sure where we will be Dec. 29-Jan.1. Do you have suggestions on a quick trip to a neighboring country?

Not sure if you are flying into Zurich or Geneva. If you plan to fly into Zurich, head towards Geneva after Christmas and spend a little time in France; leave from Geneva to go home. Not sure what Annecy would be like at that time of year.
