I was wondering what the usual temperature is the end of June. Didn't know wheather it would be too cold for shorts or crop pants.

This is not any more answerable than "what is the average temperature in the US at the end of June." So, which part(s) of Switzerland did you have in mind?

In Zurich and Lucerne we had had both hot + humid, and cool + rainy at the end of June. (Two different trips).

I find it very helpful to go online a few days before a trip and check the weather forecast.

carol, There are never any guarantees with the weather, so it's best to pack with that in mind. Some years can be abnormally cool and other years abnormally warm. I try to plan for any eventuality (within reason) by packing a variety of clothing for layering. As Rick frequently says, "there's no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing". Cheers!
