We are renting a car in Munich in late June. What is the likelihood that a rental car would have a 2012 Swiss Vignette? Many rentals must enter Switzerland, but, do they remove the vignette at the rental agency?

Hi Daryl, We've rented car from Munich and Frankfurt 7 times last 11 years. Never got a car with any Vignette on the windshield. Germany has no Vignette and I think they must remove the ones from other countries upon return. Paul

Your chances of having one in the car is zero. The rental agencies do remove the vignettes from Austria and Switzerland. We've even rented a car in Switzerland and they had removed the vignette.
