Swiss Ski B&B for family, near Geneva

Hi, this is my first post. My family of 4 (kids 7 & 11, good skiers) will be joining another family in Geneva between Christmas and New Years. We would like to take a train and spend a couple of days skiing. Does anyone know of family friendly ski areas and or B&Bs that are a reasonable (2-3 hour) train ride from Geneva? This is our first time skiing in the Alps, we don't need nightlife and would like to spend under $200/family/night if possible. Any suggestions are most welcome!

How about Au Bel Air B&B /hotel in Leysin, Switzerland? We haven't been there during a ski season -- but our visit last week was great. It is located right next to the gondola, which would be very convienient for skiiing. The owners are fabulous and told us it is less than an hour train ride from the Geneva airport. Leysin is just south east of Montreux near the east end of Lake Geneva.

Verbier might be another place to check out. It is a very cute ski town too.

I'd consider getting apartments. They can cost less than B&B's, give you more room, plus the advantage of having a kitchen. I haven't stayed in any in Switzerland, but I do know that they do rent by the day instead of by the week there.
