I know last fall there was a swiss pass that had a 2 for 1 deal. Is that something that happens every fall or was that a special thing? Thanks!

I believe it has been offered before, but it is definitely not a regular event. On a different board, someone reported they contacted SBB and was told it would not be offered in 2013. http://www.swiss-switzerland.com/2-for-1-swiss-pass-for-2013.html Instead, the promotion is the "buy 4 days get a 5th free" that you can see on this webiste.
