Swiss n Austria itinerary help

I plan to do around 22 nights in Swiss n Austria in March. The plan is to land in Geneva straight to Montreux and then 3 nights Montreux -GP train to Spiez n regio express 2 Gornegrat via Zermatt 2 nights Gornegrat /Zermatt-glacier express to brig on the way to interlaken 4 nights lauterbrunnen - base camp for jungfrau , schynige platte, schilthorn ,trummelbach, harder kulm 4 nights luzern-rigi,Titlis n pilatus 4 nights Salzburg n lake district 2 nights wachau - Danube valley 3 nights Vienna
Does this sound too ambitious especially in March. Also is Austria the right place to go in mar if you are not into skiing? Wud 9-10 days in Italy (venice, florence , rome )be a better bet

If you're skiing, it's great for the first part. Some lifts do or do not take foot traffic during ski season, so if you just want to ride up the gondola for a look around, beware winter/summer schedules are different.

You're spending 4 days in the Lauterbrunnen Valley in March? You do realize that this is still ski season? If you're not there for winter sports, you may run out of things to do quickly.

Thanks 4 Ur suggestion Tom n Kathy I was planning 2 use lauterbrunnen as t base as weather wud be a bit dicey in Mar and it was a central location for t sights in the interlaken region. Considering that I am not into skiing..what do u think wud be a better base to explore t region. Any suggestions on rehashing t itinerary are welcome!

The main "sites" in the Interlaken region are the mountains. Most people don't visit for the towns themselves. You can't really do much hiking in March, so as I mentioned before, if you're not there for the winter sports, you'll run out of things to do quickly.

Personally, since you aren't into skiing, I'd suggest Italy for your trip!
