I saw this on a Rick Steves show or heard about it in one of the presentations and would love to remember what city it was: there's a city where people walk up a river path and make their way into the water a distance from shore and float into or through town on the current. It just sounded so nice! Anyone know of this?

I was in Bern yesterday and the current is fast enough to have a nice ride down the river. Bern is a nice place to visit and loved the rose garden,bear park and the city. Yesterday was a major Swiss holiday and most of the stores in Bern were closed.

Both Globetrekker and D'hani Jones Tackles the World (Sorry, Rick, you're still my #1:) ) featured that river in Bern. It was beautiful and looked like soooo much fun!
