In June 2008, we intend to take a family trip to Paris, Munich and Venice. Between us there are seven - my wife and I, the boys (23, 21 and 18), and the girls (17 and 14). On most family vacations I typically get a two bedroom suite and put the boys in one room, the girls in a foldout bed in the living room, and my wife and I in our own room. Does anyone have a reccomendation on finding this type of arrangement in Paris, Munich and Venice? We've been to Paris but not the other two cities. I admit I like the luxury of 4-5 star hotels but don't want to break the bank.

With your party, renting an apartment seems ideal. I haven't rented in Munich or Venice, but I have used vacationinparis.com in Paris. I think finding hotels with two bedroom suites in those cities is going to get pricey.
