Have a read of a good guide book which will help you decide what you want to see and where you may like to stay, and how you will get around. All these and many others are there for the reading. BTW- there's an "h" at the end of the city name, not a "k". As you search on line you will need to be careful of spelling.

Gary, Definitely take a day trip to Lucerne. You can spend a couple of hours in the City (and don't miss the Dying Lion!) and also take a trip up to Mount Pilatus on the world's steepest cog railway (one way) and a beautiful gondola rider (the other way).
