My girlfriend and I will be in France in early Feb. and we want to spend at least one full day in the Bourgogne region to try some delicious wines. Has anyone had any experiences with private tours of wineries in the region? I would love to hear the board's suggestions. Also, which city would be the best for this type of tour (which one has better wine :P)? And, is one full day enough in Bourgogne?

I assume you are talking about Burgundy. Many people might not recognize that when you use the French name. You might want to edit your post for more responses. Sorry that I can't help you with your question. I'm researching our own trip to Burgundy and am eager to see the replies to your questions.

This is a cliche around here, but for a short stay Beaune makes a great base and there are opportunities for wine tasting right in town, which is nice if the weather turns sour. Dijon I am sure has similar opportunities.
