I would appreciate first-hand advice re Geneva. I am ending my trip to Switzerland there as my flight depart from there. I did not realize how expensive Geneva is or I would have returned to Canada via Zurich - can't change my bookings now, unfortunately. I have reservations at Belle Esperance which I hope is all right as it's expensive for such a basic place but within my budget. The museums are closed the Monday I am there so may go to Mantreux for the day on the Monday. However, I would appreciate any suggestions to eat good, reasonably priced food within walking distance - the hotel is near the large fountain. If anyone one has a better option for B&B fairly close to the train station, I would appreciate it! I am on my own, so safety at night is a concern (I am in my 60's). I have ordered Steve's Switzerland book but the 2012 edition won't get to me until after Easter. Thank you in advance for any advice!
