I'll be staying in Cassis for 1 night in the fall and have looked at several hotels. Does anyone have any suggestions of a place that doesn't have bugs or 70's carpet that isn't 150 euros per night???

So did the several hotels that you checked out have bugs & 70's carpets? I can understand not wanting a hotel with bugs, (though in all my years of travelling in Europe and staying in some pretty dinky hotels I have yet to stay in one with bugs) but what's with the carpets? You will be there one night only.

Hey Kate,
Didn't realize you were going to Cassis too! No!, no bugs, not even for one night. I have yet to hear any glowing reports for hotels under 150+ Euros and those are the lowest rack rates for more upscale lodgings. Yes, clean, simple, and 120 Euro tops is good. Does anyone have current suggestions?
