Is there anyplace in Moselkern to store luggage? My girlfriend and I will be heading from Cochem to Cologne with our luggage on a Sunday (our flight is early Monday morning) and we want to visit Burg Eltz on the way.
I read Rick's note about the restaurant in Treis-Karden but want to know if there's anyplace in Moselkern that would work.
Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks!
As you plan your trip, is there anyplace you will be heading back through following Burg Eltz? If so, you can store your luggage before Moselkern. I've heard there are no lockers there which is unusual. When I went, I was only carrying a daypack, so I didn't think about it.
Ideally, we would like to head one-way via the train: Cochem (where we're staying Saturday night) to Moselkern/Burg Eltz to Cologne (where we're staying Sunday night).
Backtracking to pick up our things is an option but that would take an extra hour or so that we'd prefer to spend walking around Koblenz or Cologne.
