I'm hoping to store a large suitcase (with laptop in it) in Berlin for 3 weeks while backpacking around Europe before my year-long study-abroad program starts there.
But, I can't find good info on the best way to safely store this for this amount of time.
The two best leads I have found are that the Hauptbahnhof in Berlin has a left luggage counter, but I can't discover how long I can leave luggage there.
Any advice would be great, especially if you have experience. Thank you in advance!

As far as I know the usual limits for Bahn luggage storage is 72 hours for lockers and 4 weeks for the counter (I never used it in Berlin though, I live here ;-)).
For a month a self-service storage unit (like Self Storage) might be more economical though.
