Storing luggage for the day in Cordoba, Spain

Hi,
I plan to get to Cordoba by train in the morning and leave by train the same evening. Can someone please tell me if it is possible to store my luggage for the day either at the train station or at the bus station across the street. And if not, what other options do I have?
Thanks!

We were there last January. It is a small station and I have no memory of a left luggage area or locker. Know nothing about the bus station.

This question came up 6 or 8 months ago and no one had a solution. Neither train nor bus stations in Cordoba have luggage storage. What I would do is go into a hotel and offer to pay to have my baggage looked after.

Hi Hans,

Your question struck me because we just got back from Spain and I recall reading something about this in the Rick Steves Spain 2009 guidebook. In the Cordoba chapter, it says:

"There is currently no luggage storage at the train station (for security reasons), but you can stow your bag at the bus station for €3.20."

So.... although we didn't use the luggage storage, The Master says you can...

I have just received the following email message from the tourist office in Cordoba:

"As far as I know, luggage storage facilities in the Cordoba train and bus stations have been eliminated for security reasons."

Thanks to all who tried to help.

We were in Cordoba 31 Aug 2008 having taken the train from Madrid. We stored our luggage in the bus terminal, toured the city and then picked up our bags for the bus trip to Granada.
