Hello Rick Steves Travel Community! I am in the process of planning a trip to Germany and would love to visit the Steiff factory. I have been able to find minimal information online. Has anyone done this before? Was it worthwhile? Where is the factory? Thanks, Erika

Erika, this is the website for Steiff. I clicked on the bottom of the page where it says "All other countries". It loaded slowly but came up in English. Click on the Steiff Museum, they give you opening times, prices, directions, etc. http://www.steiff.de

Are these Teddy Bears and other stuffed animals? Looks like the museum is located in Giengen, which is near Ulm. I don't know if this is where you want to go, but there is an email address, [email protected].
