We are going to Lisbon and have 3 days to explore. I read in one guide book that it is reasonable to stay in Estoril yet tour the city. The idea of experiencing the Costa Del Sol has some appeal, but we do want to experience as much as possible of Lisbon. On one of our days, we are taking a one-day tour Fatima, Nazarre, and Obidos. Is staying in Estoril a foolish idea? Thank you.

When people can't figure out what country the Costa del Sol is in, expecting them to post one question in the right forum might be too much to ask for. Just sayin'.

In fact, the area I was referring to in Portugal, David, is called the Costa do Sol. I am tempted to report you for your rude and offensive comments on this web site, not to mention the fact that you provide no information (other than sarcastic drivel, which is a waste of everyone's time). This is such a great resource. It's too bad that people like you, who have nothing better to do, have to ruin it by pouncing on others with your negativity. Get a life.
