I might be able to get a decent price (read: use points) on a hotel in the 10th district. Would that be a suitable location for seeing the tourist sites?

Bets, thank you. Turns out the best deal was at the "la Defense" area. So we'll be staying there for our three nights. it's looks easy enough to get there from the Eurostar station, down to Versailles, and into town for site seeing.
